Fuji Webcam 2.0 Software - Installation and Review

Fujifilm released version 2.0 of their webcam software today. This latest version now allows users to adjust film simulations, exposure compensation, white balance, and a variety of other settings while the camera still connected to the computer.

Fuji webcam software not working? Try the following in the the following order:
1. Make sure you camera model is compatible. (List down below)
2. Make sure you’ve set Connection Setting to USB Tethered AUTO. (Config instructions below).
3. Try a different USB cord.
4. See 1:47 of my video. I'm probably the ONLY ONE that made this mistake, but I figured I'd list it anyway.

This presentation was perfect! The Version 2 took care of all of my complaints from the first version . . . it took me a few minutes to figure out the way to make the Kelvin adjustments but I'm up and running . . .

I'm sure you have already noticed by now that checking the "Launch when camera connected" box on the WebCam2 dashboard takes care of the issue with starting the app sequence issue . . .

The video runs smoothly at google meet, skype, discord and zoom, but i can't control my setting via X Webcam2. Any other solution for this issue?

My XT4 hanged today while using it with a flash trigger. It wasn't even turning off. I had to remove the battery and start it again. After that i opened the Fujifilm Android App and it showed that there is a new update 1.10. And it fixes the exact issue i just faced a few minutes ago. Just wanted to share.

Finally I got it to work! I was looking at some wrong manual, which in the connection setting > connection mode, was giving alternative "webcam"... I just had to switch it to connection mode > USB tether shooting auto, and then I had to load the Zoom, to get it to work in zoom meetings.

It seems like a little preview window in the app would be helpful, allowing you to pre-configure your settings prior to launching a video streaming app. That wouldn't be super labor-intensive, would clear up user confusion, and offer a helpful tool for when you're first setting it up. As soon as some other app tries to access the camera, the preview window could go away. Fuji, hire me and I'll add this feature for you! :)

Thank you for this. Question for you. Are you using a usb c cable to connect to your Mac from the Fuji? I do have an xt2, an xh1, and an xt4. Their hdmi gs usb cable is confusing to me. For the older x models spike my xt2 and xh1 what cable is best to use? The hdmi?

How do you get better fps on the webcam? Because when I use the webcam I only get 20 fps on 1080p resolution.

Thanks Great video! is there any 3rd party Apps for wireless tether on fuji? I have a X-T4 and the "free" fuji app is junk. I just want to preview on a Ipad, in the studio so clients can see what I'm shooting and I can see the lighting and composition. 1 or 2k rez would be fine, I'll take speed over high rez. I'm so frustrated that I'm thinking of buying a camranger, have you tried it? cheers!
