Is the Ferrari F8 Spider a convertible without compromise? Taking the roof off a car sounds great, in principle. You get the wind in your hair, that Ferrari soundtrack in your ears, the sun on your forehead, what more could you want? Well, as it turns out, there’s always been pitfalls with convertibles. Structural rigidity and weight tend to suffer hugely. But surely we’ve got to the point where it must be possible to have all the benefits and none of the downsides, right?
