Help me Repair Windows 7 0xc000000f Startup Error Problem??
I just need to regain usage of the computer long enough to access a few important documents then I will throw the computer in the trash can... Yikes Help?

If this has happened to any one else, this is what worked for me. I have two hard drives and for some reason it wouldn't detect the hard drive with the operating system on it. I restarted and pressed the delete button a bunch of times until the bios shows up. Then I went to the boot tab and saw that the hard drive 0 wasn't showing up in the boot priority. So I manually clicked on the boot drive 0 and then it did a scan and repair. The pc restarted and it worked.

Same problem here. What ticks me off is that I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 because of Microsoft's constant recommendation, didn't like it and uninstalled it to go back to Windows 7. But I was never able to log on again, getting the same error screen you have. I lost tons of valuable stuff too--pics, documents, correspondence, etc. If you ever come up with a solution, please post it.

Can I fix this without using cd? I'm just editing videos for my school project and this happened to me :( Please help!

1st restart the computer after that press f9 and select boot drive then enter!!! that is it!!

Go to command prompt from recovery disc.Then type following commands:
1) diskpart
2)list disk
3)sel disk 0
4)list par
5)sel par X(where X is in which your windows is installed)
6)active( it will mark the partition as active)
7)exit
now boot u r done..

hi first take out all usb's except keyboard when starting up press F12 this takes you to the boot menu on this menu click + hardrive on this try every option one of these should bring you to widows :) this worked for me but if it doesnt work for you please don't hate

ok so this worked for my Dell Laptop (windows 7):
Turn on your laptop then press ESC. button, then as it restarts spam the f9 button, after that hold or press f8 it should take you to a boot option then highlight "safe mode" and enter. this reinstalls windows, but hopefully it works for you.

what you want to do is go to a working pc and download the windows 7 iso image and then download Universal USB Instal and get a USB make it bootable with Universal USB Instal when it is done go to your broken pc or laptop then insert the USB then start up your pc in bios go to boot menu and boot from the USB it should show you a screen that can let you install windows 7...and there you have it .... you can do this for any operating system you want

same problem here. installed Windows 10 after being prompted to, then had to roll back to 7 and then got same error. searching for a solution.

Is you hard drive, I have same problem right now I did trouble shooting, a won't take my CD dvd rom don't take my USB thumb drive, if you need help how to recover you files I can help you.. but you going to need a new hard drive let me know
