Next week on September 30th Simply Red’s beloved 1991 album Stars turns 30! Stars was the best-selling album of the year in 91 and 92, and included hit singles ‘Stars’, ‘Something Got Me Started’, and ‘For Your Babies’.

It's funny, I was listening to a smooth jazz station recently and did not recognize anyone playing and frankly was disappointed in the music. So I got out one of my old mixes and looked up Simply Red. Well, my heart was shocked when I saw the dates on my favorite bands. I'm OLD NOW! I don't remember what I did with all that time but I sure miss the music. Love you Mick.
