Dr. David Parker - Director of Human and Robotic Exploration, European Space Agency

ESA’s future for human spaceflight and robotic exploration is a sustainable and international endeavour to visit new places and discover new things. Exploring space is about travelling farther and coming back with new experiences and knowledge to help us on Earth.
Dr Parker, ESA’s Director of Human and Robotic Exploration, highlighted ESA programmes including the new generation of astronauts, Class of 2022; Europe’s contributions to Artemis including the European Service Modules for Orion; the re-ignition of the ExoMars programme; the regular astronaut missions to the International Space Station and the upcoming launch of Juice, ESA’s mission to explore Jupiter’s Icy Moons.
