Thanks for making this video. This is really useful. I managed to setup an ONT to work as an access point. But one thing I would suggest is to mention about changing the default IP address if router and ONT are using same IP. I configured the ONT but I was not getting internet unless I connect and reconnect (connect first to router SSID and get internet then reconnect to ONT SSID and then able to get internet). Later I realized both ONT and router are using the same IP (default). Changed the default IP of ONT but within the same range as of router IP. So ensured both ONT and router have different IPs but within the same range. Now the issue is resolved and able to get connected to internet properly via ONT which acts as an AP.

And thanks once again, this video literally saved me from buying another dual band router.

Valeu, foi o primeiro vídeo que eu ví. Mas meu modem não tinha as opcoes de liberar as portas. Fui ver vídeos e consegui desbloquear mas mesmo assim não funcionava. Aí entrei nas configurações e vi que depois do desbloqueio aparaceu a opção de liberar as portas. Então voltei aqui e foi fácil fazer funcionar com seu vídeo. Obrigado

It fucking works though my router was huawei fibre one had a totally user interface but used your basics. At first it did not work but as soon as i changed default ip adress worked now im a happy man😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
