I’ve seen @letskwook making 3 types of hot chocolate and I instantly thought, let’s make this chai! 🤭
LEVEL 1 recipe:
-300ml milk of your choice
-1/2 Tsp cinnamon
-1/4 Tsp each: ground ginger, cloves, cardamom
-2 Tsp (vanilla) sugar
Whisk and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat.
-1 black tea bag
Let it simmer 3-4mins.
Serve.

LEVEL 2 recipe:
-125ml water
-1 thumbsize piece of ginger, smashed or grated
-1 stick of cinnamon
-2 cardamom pods
-2 peppercorns
Lightly smash first and put in hot water.
Simmer for 2mins.
-1 black tea bag
Simmer for 2mins.
-200ml milk of your choice (I used vanilla soy milk, HIGHLY recommended 😋)
Bring to a boil thrice, then strain and serve warm.

LEVEL 3 recipe:
-500ml water
-250g brown sugar
-2 cinnamon sticks
-2 tbsp cardamom pods
-2 thumb-sized pieces of ginger
-1 tbsp whole cloves
-5 black peppercorns
Smash the spices and add with the water and sugar to a pot.
Let it simmer for 15mins.
-5 Tbsp or bags black tea
Stir it in and simmer for 5 more mins.
Strain and store in the fridge (it’ll last multiple weeks).
-4 to 5 Tsp chai syrup
-50ml hot water
Mix.
-150ml milk of your choice
Froth up the milk and make some chai art to enjoy. 🥰

Level 2 indian here. I think most indians make level 2. We like our chai fresh. But level 3 seems like an easy fix for lazy winter days.

Level 2 is on point, except that you added way too much water. The tea is very watery when you strained it. Just decrease the water level or you can boil the fresh spices directly in the milk of you want it more creamier. Level 3 seems a very nice idea for lazy days! ❤

Indian here, we all know chai is staple
Drank almost twice a day atleast by majority .

Never seen level 1 or level 3 but I am so so grateful for people who try our cuisine and dishes and even modify it to their taste ❤😊
Even I do the same with pasta and other things 😋

Love from India.

Barista here. To pull latte art you need to tilt your cup as you pour (English is not my first language sorry if that does not make any sense)

Dude level 3 is a game changer tbh. You don't have to deal with the messy utensil everytime!

I love to see my fave food creators being inspired by each other and *keypoint* being open about it. Collaboration > Competition!

LOL. I love how level 1 is always already more complicated than when I do it.
My level one is making Black tea that already has the spices in it (It’s in a teabag obviously) and add milk and sugar 😅

As an Indian, in my house and my teacher as well, just boil the tea leaves in water (however strong you prefer it) then transfer to the flask coz it's made for the whole family lol.
Who ever wants to put sugar, milk, etc can do it in their own cup while pouring the black tea from the flask.
