EIL Network Weekend April 2011

EIL staff and Network members met for one of EIL's biannual Network Weekends in Dublin on April 16th and 17th. The weekend was split into two days. The first day staff and Network members interviewed Travel Award finalists to choose the successful 22 Travel Award winners this year. The second day involved members of the Development Education committee delivering a workshop on MDG 7 (Ensuring Environmental Sustainbility) with particular focus on lack of access to water in developing countries and overconsumption in developed countries. This was followed by a street action entitled "BE WATER WISE".
