'We're gonna play" YES. For me, that is what magic and ritual is about. Yes it is sacred but it is also fun. Making/planning rituals is like a puzzle for me or like baking. If it wasn't fun, I wouldn't do magic 🤷‍♀️

May I suggest one more thing if you don't mind? You mentioned that after the ritual you will light/burn the candle on every mercury hour...I think it would also be great if you leave a small portion of your candle, and atleast burn it for 5 mins whenever you want to study or want to be focused on your studies. This way the energy of the ritual will also help you.

I loved this! I know I'm really late to the video, but this is how I do my workings and rituals, plus or minus a few things depending on what's available. If we can't be creative while we do magic, what's the point? I wish I were better about preparing further out than I do, but I usually get a few planets where I want them. It was refreshing to see you talk about how things weren't exactly where you wanted, but you were going to get the ritual done regardless. I think for beginners, if they don't have everything exactly like they're told in videos that they'll give up. I wish I'd had more people like you around when I started.

I primarily work with the moon but sometimes I can't wait 2 weeks for the right phase so I like to use cemetery dirt harvested under the desired phase and surround the working in a dirt circle to focus that energy. The full and new moon dirt was harvested on halloween for extra power 😊

If you use a lot of lavender oil (say 5% dilution plus) then it actually becomes a stimulating oil rather than relaxing. Something to know for next time 😊 Kate x
