Ayaka's mother died of an illness, as far as we're aware, so hopefully she wasn't assassinated. An illness can always be a protracted poisoning, after all.

I think lore-wise, Ayato would most likely to have a hydro vision since Hydro Archon is the the god of Justice, and from what I gathered, he is fighting for the justice in political environments. He's an compelling character for sure because this is only the second time (first time was when Diluc commented about the Knights dealings with the Fatui) we have been in a more political problem.

It's very ironic that the espionage-esque clan in Inazuma is the least corrupted commission. You'd think they were the ones responsible for the Fatui making contact with the Shogun given their secretive nature

Surpised people don't know but the Kamisato father's death was more or less indirectly caused by Scaramouche. He made _plans_ to pit the Bladesmiths against each other as an act of revenge for Katsuragi's murder, but he gave up halfway through his plotting as stated in the Husk of Opulant Dreams artifact cup. Under Ayaka's voice line of More About Kamisato Ayaka: II "We were harassed by the Fatui, we lost many of our people, and we received a great deal of criticism. It all aged Father greatly, and severely damaged the Kamisato Clan's standing within the Shogunate" And then the follow up under More About Kamisato Ayaka: III states how "the swordsmith's betrayal is the fault of ineffectual management by the Kamisato Clan" So maybe Scaramouche confided his plans into the researcher (Dottore) that was with him at the time, who then had no problem carrying out with them because well Dottore is very much like That lol. But then Ayaka seems to understand that it was their fault they didn't deal with Nagamasa at the time.

Ayato was indirectly related to the Sakura Cleaning quest, indeed he was mentioned during that period, as he and Yae' were discussing about the way to perform the ritual

Kamisato (神里) - 'where God dwells' (Kami '神' = God, Sato '里' can mean home, village or countryside).

While Ayaka's name (綾華) means 'design' (綾 - by japanese definition) and 'flower' (華), Ayato's name (綾人) is 'design' and 'human', so I think he's going to be one heck of a handsome dude.

I dug around and strangely, the name Ayato can also be written as '理人' (this is different from what is stated in Genshin Wiki, and has multiple readings, e.g. 'Rihito', 'Masato', etc. 'Ayato' is one them). The '理' character means logic, arrangement, reason, justice, or truth - which fits with him being of the Hydro element, and the current stereotypes of Hydro characters being aligned with the theme of justice. What a happy coincidence eh?

If I recall Right, The Kamisato Clan was nearly wiped out because of the Fatui. Ever since then the Kamisato siblings has to deal with so much responsibilities and duties.

Even the paper ball that Ayaka had and she plays with with her family is now stashed away in her closet. Knowing that those days of peace are now behind her.

Really am looking forward to roll for him, after that I have the one and Oni Itto, I will save for him and Shikanoin.

it kinda weird that as the head of an organization like the Shumatsuban they didn't know or collect the corruption evidence about the other 2 commissions' dealing with the fatui earlier. its like mhy made up all these chars and gave them outstanding characteristics in voicelines yet gave them no major showcase of skills in the archon quest, they were just sitting ducks waiting for traveller to come do things for them (same for kokomi).
