Hey everyone! I've decided to put all the scenes of David Bowie from "The Labyrinth" into one video so that you can enjoy our beloved majesty without interruption. Sadly, he has (excluding the songs) only about 10 minutes screen-time (even less)...

"I have turned the world upside down and I've done it all for you."

My favorite line out of the whole movie.

I feel the reason this movie works so well is because Bowie took his part seriously. The further into the story we get, we watch Jareth grow more desperate to keep her in the Labyrinth. Comparing how playful and intimidating he is in his first scene to how sad and pleading he is in his final scene, the character has clearly gone on an emotional journey. One of my favorite shots in the film is when they're in the Escher maze, and right after the final line of "Within You, " he looks so melancholy knowing that, no matter what he does, Sarah is going to get to Toby. Without his performance, the layers he applied to it, the character would feel empty and the story lifeless.

Man. There are so many reasons why this is my favorite movie.

In the early 1990’s, I was at a charity concert that consisted of several amazing artist. I was in the elevator with my little one( she was about a year old). Bowie & a handful of his people got on the elevator as we were on. I recognized him & it was obvious. I however didn’t want to bother him. My little one of course was cooing trying to get everyone to acknowledge her. As we were getting off the elevator, he turned to us, smiles & said “And baby says”. It was definitely one of my favorite moments in life.

I admire Sarah, because if David Bowie offered me to be his queen, I don't think I could resist

"Just fear me, love me. Do as I say, and I will be your slave". Probably one of my favorite lines in the entire movie

Why was I TODAY YEARS OLD when I realized that Sarah *never* told the Goblin King her name, but he knew it!? 👀
Surely Toby didn't tell
That certainly is an intersting addition to this story.

It rocked me to the core when he passed away. It was like losing a lifelong friend. Labyrinth has always been my go to movie when nothing else would make me happy. I envisioned i was Sarah dancing in the ballroom. Such a gifted man.

Sarah: "I wish to get rid of my brother"
Also Sarah: "I want him back"
Jareth: *visible confusion*
