I've never had much luck with dual layer plastic like this. I recently retired it when it clogged my laser head. I've tried every range of air assist. I'm glad to see someone can get good results out of it! The magic eraser works sometimes, but I certainly removed the nice finish when using it.

I have been making signs with a similar material from JDS Industries called Duets Textures. The only way I have gotten a clean engrave is to run two passes. That works, but the residue/dust is just awful. And it’s awful slow due to 2 passes. I haven’t tried reversing direction. My default raster engrave is from the front of the laser, backwards towards the fan.
