Once people had enough security to have free time where they wont be eaten by something that's the turning point. That's why you see the 'same' thing in a lot of ancient cultures. What would YOU do if you and 3 other guys were sitting in front of a cave all night standing guard? Watch the Stars? Carve what you see? That's what they did, the same thing you'd do to pass the time.

Recently, they used X-rays on the Dead Sea Scrolls. Back in 1993 NASA used infrared imaging on the scrolls to see some of the writing on the rolled scroll.

The book of Enoch would potentially destroy all religion on earth.
Basically in that book the "flood" was angels literally falling from the sky. Which later refer to them as Martians essentially. In that book it's stated that there were "Gods". Plural, not singular. These Gods would build a civilization on Mars and make routine trips to Earth... In the book they are called something I just can't remember ATM (I may edit it in later)
The emerald tablets from Thoth the Atlantian would be the closest piece of text that would prove this theory.. Thoth had many names, most notibly Hermes. He apparently was also at war with his brother in Egypt aka Amun Ra.

This is obviously all speculation though

The biggest issue about the book of Enoch is that it doesn’t read like the Greeks or hebrews wrote, the grammar is much more similar to the writing style today, as if it was written in English first.

It repeats some things already in scripture but that tends to make me think it’s sprinkled truths used to make lies look more real and there is a lot of contradictory lies all throughout Enoch. As a works, it’s a mess.


Truthfully, apart from the contradictions, it offers nothing new that would change anything. It’s almost as if someone wrote it specifically to throw off people who are less learned in scripture.

I have a copy of "Enoch." I consider it to be very informative. Also some of the Apocryphal texts. Which can be found in the Jerusalem Bible. (Not sure why she said that) But some of them are obviously not inspired. When the author starts out by bragging about his righteousness. It is safe to say it's not inspired.

Enoch was considered canon by the early Christians. Paul and the 4 gospels quote it repeatedly. The only text more influential was the ascension of Isaiah.

Theres a sumerian carving that shows a bunch of objects in the sky, probably planets, since one has a ring around it. Saturn, right? No big deal. Except Saturn's rings can't be seen without a telescope. There are no naked eye visible rings anywhere. So how did they know planets could even have rings?

I was fascinated by the Dead Sea scrolls when I was a kid, after reading the translated ones for years I noticed something. It’s not that they don’t add up or would ruin Christianity, but personally I think it was an intentional Jewish attack on Christianity to try and disprove Christ as the Jews are the biggest “enemy” of the Christian through history.

I am very studied in the Bible if anyone wishes to politely converse or has questions.

I will say this to start. Israel and the Jewish people are not the main focus of the Bible, the messiah is, whether you think that is Christ or not. If you read the Bible thinking in this manner the book reads 100% different than likely anything you were ever taught or heard about as a kid.
