Truly honored & humbled that they called me a prodigy🙏🏼 I probably was one as a Lil Perly and probably didn’t know it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ either way, I’m not here to brag or flash an ego.
I’m grateful to be able to share my story and love of music with you all. Everything that I do is an extension of my soul in which words cannot express but only with music. Sometimes words fail me and a melody speaks on my behalf. (Oohh that line right there👀)

Massive thank you to Ben Aaron and his videographer Ryan for having me be apart of the segment! This was more than a blast and I wish there were bloopers- just 2 goofballs shooting a Pix 11 segment🤣 Ben is amazing storyteller and a great guy overall - thanks Ben!

Dude had me laughing. My parents are Italian and Puerto Rican and they met in a Disco too lol. First big NYC clubs songs to unite races though imo, is Eddie Palmieri Azucar Pa Ti in 1964. First song to break the 3 and half min barrier on a major label and radio station. and Joe Cubas Bang Bang in 1965. I think a year or two later they shut down the original paladium claiming traffic Jams and they raided the place. They just didn't like all the blacks, whites and latinos dancing together lol. People forget because the industry itself has sewn divisions. But Salsa, Disco and Hip Hop are all concepts of Universal Culture and only could of come out of melting pots like NYC.
