Art Gallery Of New South Wales - SYDNEY

You will see a wide range of art including Modern, Contemporary, Asian , Australian, Aboriginal and European spread over 5 floors. From looking at the outside I Can't believe how big this place really is, we spent 2 hours there but could have easily did longer.
Best time to visit is weekdays by public transport or weekends if you want to drive in. We parked at the domain secure car park which has a weekend rate of $12 full day parking and only a short walk to the Gallery.
There is a Cafe and a restaurant inside, toilets, water fountain and gift shop. Our favorite is the School artwork, we have such talented kids in Australia. Aboriginal art was also interesting especially the modern day ones. Art is not just paintings and pictures,

(there is a charge on special shows)

Every day 10am until 5pm
Wednesdays until 10pm for Art After Hours
Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday
