Mr Mpofu, I too enjoyed your dissection but I feel you didn’t go deep enough, so do consider the following:
The landscape of global conflicts reveals a complex web of power dynamics, particularly regarding Israel and Ukraine as proxies for U.S. interests. Central to this is the theme of U.S. hegemony, which is increasingly facing challenges in its global position. Here are several key points to consider:

1. The War in Ukraine: The U.S. has a long-standing contentious relationship with Russia, marked by efforts to encircle it through military alliances and bases. A significant part of this strategy has been NATO's expansion into Eastern Europe, with Ukraine being the latest nation sought for membership. If Ukraine were to join NATO, U.S. nuclear missiles could be positioned directly on Russia's border, posing a significant threat. This situation mirrors past U.S. military interventions, such as in Libya. In response, Russia has strongly opposed Ukraine's NATO aspirations and raised concerns about the treatment of Russian-speaking citizens in the Donbas region.

2. The Situation in Palestine: The South African government has made a compelling case against Israel, describing it as an apartheid state engaged in genocidal actions against the Palestinian people. This includes attempts to annex the Gaza Strip and ongoing violence in the West Bank, where many residents—unconnected to recent conflicts—are suffering daily oppression and hardship.

3. U.S. Military Support: In both Ukraine and Palestine, the U.S. has leveraged these conflicts to bolster its military presence and influence. This support aligns with broader globalist objectives, enabling the U.S. to maintain its power while shaping regional dynamics to its advantage.

4. Impact of Economic Sanctions: The U.S. has imposed economic sanctions on Russia with the goal of isolating it from global trade and limiting its oil sales. Contrary to expectations, these sanctions have not weakened Russia; instead, they have fostered economic resilience and even growth in some European nations. Moreover, these sanctions have accelerated a shift away from the dollar as countries seek to insulate themselves from potential U.S. punitive measures. This has contributed to a growing alignment among nations in the Global South towards BRICS.

These points illustrate the interconnected nature of contemporary conflicts and highlight how U.S. foreign policy attempts to sustain its global dominance, even as it faces mounting challenges.

Considering this context, the potential for war between Israel and Iran must be viewed with particular attention to these dynamics. Iran has demonstrated its capability to penetrate Israel's defensive systems with its advanced hypersonic missiles. This poses a significant threat, as Iran has openly stated it can devastate critical Israeli infrastructure, including water, electricity, and oil facilities, potentially rendering the country uninhabitable.

Moreover, the U.S. recognizes that if Israel were to attack Iran and draw the U.S. into the conflict, Iran could retaliate by targeting oil fields and U.S. military bases in the region. Such a scenario could severely disrupt trade routes throughout the Middle East, especially if Iran were to impose blockades on shipping lanes.

In this volatile landscape, the stakes are high, and the ramifications of any conflict could resonate far beyond the immediate region.

Malema mentioned that Israel serves as a U.S. military base in the Middle East. It’s a provocative statement that raises many questions about geopolitics and military strategy in the region.

It is so interesting to me how depending on whether a YouTuber/media outlet is pro-Israel or pro-Palestine. You can hear a completely different spin on events. It's fascinating and a call to everyone to listen to both sides so you're not just being fed propaganda.

There was a religious program that used to play in the 90s explaining this war, but they were reading from the book of revelations and they unpacked wars before they happened and it's happening now

Iran and Israel were Allie's before the Islamic revolution who over through the monarchy and created a theocratic state headed by the Ayatollah who hates Israel and does not accept Israel's right to exist. In fact the Islamic Republic of Iran has a strategy to destroy the state of Israel. This is the most important context that you left out.

"lets fix our own problems first" feels so wild for me because outside problems will always be connected to us in someway, be it Russia and Ukraine's proxy war in Mali, or the fact that we have SANDF troops in the Congo - we're all connected, sometimes by choice, sometimes we get pulled in whether we like it or not 🙃
