These Lures Can Change EVERYTHING!!!

The bites out on the water can be few and far between as that water warms up and those fish seek shelter from the summer sun. Add to that tons of boat traffic and fishing pressure and bass fishing can be at its most difficult this time of year. When times get rough, these are the five baits and presentations that I go to in order to keep getting numbers and quality bites. They're tested and proven favorites that I'm sure will work for you was well!

Do you have a favorite bait to throw when that bite gets super tough? Let us know!

Weightless fluke is a great bait. I use that when times get tough. Mix in a popper and I'm still catching fish.

Cutting that worm down seems like a really smart idea. I can see where that would work.

I always seem to fall back on a regular zoom swamp crawler with a 1/16oz weight unpegged when I'm having a tough day and seems to always produce bites... great video and bait's and thanks for the comment shout out! Good luck out there and stay safe bud!

LowBrow,
I’ve watched your videos enough to understand that you are mainly a soft plastic fisherman.
I transplanted to Hattiesburg from New Orleans where I Bass fished a lot of brackish water using crank baits, spinner baits, and jerk baits, with only a few plastic baits.
I have good luck the same way up here in the Lake Serene lakes and Bill Waller.
After watching your video today I will have to try more plastics like you showed and compare my success rate.
Good Fishing!
Bill

A wacky rig is as close to a sure bet as there is. A ned rig would be a close second.

Great video and some great information! My all time tough bite lure is the 4 inch smoke w/blk fleck Yamamoto Single Tail Grub. Keep doing what you do buddy! #LowBrowFishing rocks!

Can't ever rule out a ned rig. I always seem to get bites with a ned.

I thought for sure you'd have the Waco rig in this lol. That thing catches good fish. I don't know what sort of magic was going on in your brain when you came up with that one 👍

Those are great lures. A trap has been working for me near the marina docks.

When the going gets tough I put on a weightless fluke or a ned rig

I would say for me lately it is probably a shaky head or drop shot. Believe it or not I’m already dreaming about fall fishing and burning baits again.

Ive also had luck on a lipless crankbait
