You met her at the Paris Opera, where she came every evening carrying a bouquet of white camellias, except for the five days each month when the camellias were red

I am a Black man living in 17th century France. My name is Jean and I have been captivated by a French courtesan named Marie. She is unlike any woman I have ever met. Her grace, her charm, and her beauty are unmatched. From the moment I first laid eyes on her, I knew that I had to have her.

Marie is the epitome of elegance. Her hair is a cascading waterfall of golden curls that frames her delicate face. Her eyes are like emeralds, sparkling with intelligence and wit. Her skin is creamy and flawless, and I cannot help but to be mesmerized by the way she moves. She floats across the room as if she is walking on air, and her laughter is like music to my ears.

I first met Marie at a ball held in the court of Louis XIV. She was wearing a stunning gown of emerald green that accentuated her curves and made her stand out among the sea of people. I approached her, my heart pounding in my chest, and asked her to dance. To my surprise, she said yes.

As we danced, I felt as if I was in a dream. Her body was warm against mine, and I could smell the scent of roses in her hair. We talked and laughed, and for a moment, it felt as if we were the only two people in the room.

After the dance was over, Marie and I retreated to a quiet corner of the ballroom. We talked for hours, and I found myself falling deeper and deeper in love with her. I knew that I was not supposed to feel this way. As a Black man, I was not supposed to desire a woman like Marie. But I could not help myself.

Over the next few weeks, I saw Marie whenever I could. We went for long walks in the gardens, picnicked by the river, and even attended a few more balls together. I knew that what we were doing was dangerous, but I could not imagine my life without her.

However, our love was not meant to be. One day, Marie's mother found out about our affair and forbade her from seeing me. I was heartbroken, but I understood. Marie was a courtesan, and she had a reputation to uphold. She could not be seen with a Black man, no matter how much she loved him.

Years have passed since then, but I have never forgotten about Marie. She will always be the one who got away, the one who captured my heart and never let go. Even now, as an old man, I think about her every day and wonder what could have been if we had been born in a different time, a different place. But even though our love was forbidden, it will always be a part of me, a reminder of a time when anything was possible, even love between a Black man and a French courtesan.

As the years passed, I never stopped thinking about Marie. I always wondered what could have been if we had been allowed to be together. But one day, as an old man, I received a letter from Marie herself.

In the letter, she revealed that she had been secretly in love with me all along, but had been too afraid to tell me. She explained that her mother had forbidden our relationship not because of my race, but because she was afraid of Marie falling in love with someone who could not provide for her financially. But now, Marie was wealthy enough to make her own decisions, and she wanted to be with me.

I was shocked and overjoyed. After all these years, my love for Marie had never faded, and now, it seemed that we could finally be together. I wrote back immediately, expressing my love for her and my desire to be with her forever.

And so, Marie and I reunited after all those years apart. We spent the rest of our lives together, finally free to love each other without any restrictions or barriers. It was a happy ending to a love story that had once seemed impossible, and it taught me that sometimes, fate has a way of bringing us back to the people we truly belong with, no matter how long it takes or what obstacles we face.

I AM falling in love with a French courtesan and I’ve never been to France. Magnificent though it’s also a bit of a sad feeling almost tragic. On the other feeling it’s 2022 how she gets her money is her business. I love you whoever you are out there…! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
