Playthrough Part 1 – Escaping the Trap

The game came out today and you guys made your vote. Don't make me regret it.

Welcome to Paper Mario: The Origami King, the newest entry in the Paper Mario franchise. Sadly I can say that I do like how the game looks and the battle system is very solid, unfortunately it follows the same issues that have plagued Color Splash and Sticker Star. Thankfully there are no stickers or cards. Instead it feels like an RPG with you having access to many different attacks at your disposal.

Here, we escape a deadly trap as the Origami King has used confetti and streamers to turn anything and everything into folded monsters. Not good. But surprisingly we get some aid in the form of Bowser and his troops. Interesting.

Much of this part is devoted to tutorials and they are needed if you want to go through this unscathed. Trust me. I already am adjusting and I know for sure it's going to be a bumpy ride.

I only recorded one video today and I hope you all understand that I don't want this to be too long. I'm letting you know that my priority this week will focus on FF7 Remake and Origami King. Once FF7 Rekmake is over, then I do DBZ Kakarot and then I can continue Persona 5 Royal. But as far as the game is concerned, I'm going to see if I can get what I can done. It's not much but what can you do you know? So yeah, this isn't my decision and I hope you all can respect it. So yeah, tomorrow you will get the next part of FF7 Remake and I will record more for you guys. Oh and Rise of the TMNT reviews are coming. Just a heads up! A new Paper Mario game. I like the concept of this game that it involves doing with origami. Well, you learn something new from a new Paper Mario game and hopefully it is good in either high or low expectations. Wish you a best of luck on this game.

This does look rather fun, but something tells me I should play Sticker Star and Color Splash and if we can count this one, Mario and Luigi Paper Jam first before Origami King. I already played the original Paper Mario on N64, Thousand Year Door on GameCube and Super Paper Mario on Wii.

The next journey of paper Mario is here! And in all honesty, the game is ok to me, but I wished it would've been a lot better! Ignoring criticism for eight years straight just to make a disgrace to the original isn't alright in my book, and yes, paper Mario the thousand year door, the first paper Mario, and super paper Mario are my favorites as well
