Toro Timecutter SWX Residential Zero Turn Mower Review

The SWX series mower is a steering wheel zero turn and comes in either a 42" or 50" fabricated/reinforced deck. This is the only Toro model with the steering wheel option. This is a step up above the SW series mowers due to the welded deck, arm rests added to the seat, and serviceable hydraulics.

The deck is made of 12 gauge steel with aluminum spindles. The 42" deck comes with 2 spindles and the 50" comes with 3 spindles. The forward and reverse foot pedals are located on the deck and the steering wheel position is adjustable. The discharge chute is a hard plastic spring loaded chute.

On the driver's right hand side includes the deck height adjustment lever, parking brake switch, and the control panel that has the throttle, choke, PTO, and key switch. The rear tires are 20" tires, the right console includes a compartment for storage purposes, and this model's hour meter is located behind the seat.

The engine is a 24.5 HP Toro brand engine, and there is a tow hitch kit is already installed. The drive system consists of serviceable ZT2800 hydraulics with a 10 cc pump and the battery is located under the seat.

The 3 gallon gas tank is located to the driver's left along with the washout port on the deck. This model comes with a 3 year warranty.
