That's actually very fast and close to the SATA III limit. Uncached write is also very fast - try it with 10 GB files, to be really sure. Even the most expensive SSDs cannot offer much faster burst read/write over SATA III, but they are faster in IOPS. 2-year warranty is normal for this price range.

No DRAM cache means that they'll not only be slower but also wear out much faster as they will have to do way more unnecessary writes to flash.

It still has twice the random 4k write speed and +50% of sustained write speed in comparison with WD Green.
I have bought ~20 Intenso High 120/240GB and handful of Intenso Top (128GB) to "revive" old notebooks with 4200/5400rpm HDDs.
Most are ~2yo and all of them work.
Now I prefer base Gigabyte SSD's as budget replacement for old notebooks, they have more consistent performance.

In the "ultra budget SSD" area, Patriot Burst is quite acceptable.
Kingston A400 is utter hell, couple of months and you will very likely end with sustain R/W of 7200RPM HDD.
Hikvision is even worse (bought one for IRL test, not paper figures) as Hikvision is decent manufacturer of camera systems (I thought they want to "improve" their brand with SSD's).

I can get these for about 13 euro.. Great little things to pump some pep in old systems.

It says on their website, today, that it uses cache... Did they change it?...

Adata doesn't manufacture memory chips. They are just a brand. They buy the chips from Toshiba, SK Hynix or Micron depending on the product line.

Intenso pendrive 256gb usb 3.0
