For anyone who hasn’t seen it “Thinner” is a great adaptation of a Stephen King classic. (Published under his pseudonym Richard Bachman)
The film takes little to no deviations from the book. And it’s a great story.
Funny story in the late eighties I got arrested for a DUI leaving work from my Bartending job I was BARELY the limit but I digress.
I had to do two weekends in “Road Camp” as my penance.
The bar owner’s wife loaned me Thinner to read while I paid my dues. I was enjoying it so much, that by the third chapter I had gathered a crowd of inmates who took interest and I wound up reading them the entire book aloud. They enjoyed it tremendously and HOPEFULLY I encouraged some of them to start reading novels. I turned a negative experience into a positive one.

The Beekeeper made 4 times it's production budget at the boxoffice. Somebody liked it.

Graduating High School 1965( San Diego Ca.) and Viet Nam 68/69 the 2 Movies that remind the most of the 60's are Endless Summer and Easy Rider. To end the 60's In 1969 You had Woodstock and Easy Rider.

I like the format of this video. I think you should keep showing new releases at the beginning and then the older movies on the second half of the video. IMHO - not that anyone asked my opinion lol! 😂

I don't know if you'd count as a visual effect, but in Lawrence of Arabia – because camels can't jump in there was a scene of them jumping over a low wall – they had to build a ramp for the camels to run up and then step off the top.

Sorry but I got to disagree with you about The Beekeeper. I found it fun, exciting, and it was full of great action. Also it was written by Kurt Wimmer, who also wrote Law Abiding Citizen, another favorite of mine. As for Easy Rider, I saw in the theater as a teenager and always thought it was overrated. The actual star of that movie was the Captain America Bike which looked cool but would have been a nightmare riding it across country.
