12th June is "Helsinki day". Organized by the City of Helsinki. The city is full of happenings and open days free of charge. It is possible to visit places which are not normattly open. On this video e.g. the fire stations and the tower of Korkeavuori fire station and Lapinlahti former mental institution. There would have been even more interesting places/happenings like "Jurtta-sauna", kickbike ride at Rastila area and some museums but I did not have time. There are happenings also outside the city centre which is good.
