In the midst of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, the need for sound guidance on how to safely and successfully exercise the vote has rarely been of greater significance. Knowing about voting rights and how to respond when you witness them being violated is one way to ensure you and those around you can fairly cast a vote this November.
The Center for Social Development, Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement, and Campus Election Engagement Project hosted a conversation with Denise Lieberman—a civil rights lawyer, general counsel to the Missouri Voter Protection Coalition, and faculty director for the Voter Access and Engagement Initiative at the Center for Social Development—about voting rights and getting out the vote.
