In this video i show you how to make chicken pepper soup. Our famous chicken pepper soup. Apart from fall or winter, you can also make this soup during other seasons, if you are under the weather (spring or summer).

Chicken Pepper Soup
Ingredients
Chicken
Carrots- 3 large
Garlic- 2 gr
Ginger - 3 gr
Hot pepper - to taste
Leek leaves - 1 cup
Black pepper - 1 ½ tsps
White pepper - 1 ½ tsps
Salt - to taste
Celery - 1 cup
Rondelles- 2
Pebe - 2
Sese - 8gr
Gensang - 40 grains
Onion - 3 medium size
Cloves - 4
anise
Thyme, oregano leaves, bay leaves/powder, parsley leaves, rosemary, cilantro, green anise, basil (¼ tsp each)
Bongo - 2 (optional)
Dry ginger leaves - (optional)
Village black pepper - 1 tsp (optional)
Water

Preparation
In a cooking pot, clean and cut the chicken , add salt. Bring it to a boil for 20
minutes.
Drain off the water from the chicken.
Add to the chicken, all ingredients except hot pepper, thyme, oregano, rosemary, parsley leaves, green anise, basil, cilantro, white pepper, cute, village black pepper, bay leaves, and water. Water should be more than the chicken, close to the top of the pot.
Add salt to taste, water to the level past the amount of chicken in the pot and let boil for 20 minutes or until boiled.
Turn off the fire, remove chicken from the water and drain the juice into a bowl. Keep the drained juice for cooking. Remove all spices from the juice and put into a blender.
Blend all cooked ingredients.
Add spices to the chicken and let cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.
Peel and boil the sweet potatoes and cocoyam.
Add to the cooked chicken, uncooked spices: hot pepper, thyme, oregano, rosemary, parsley leaves, green anise, basil, cilantro, white pepper, cute, village black pepper, bay leaves.
Season soup with salt and cube as needed. Cook for 10 more minutes on low to medium heat.
Remove from the fire and serve hot. Can be eaten alone or with a starch such as plantain, cocoyam, rice, etc.
