How to Find a Person’s Social Media Footprint Using Maltego in 5 Minutes

It is important for cybercriminal investigators to pour through a person-of-interest’s #socialmedia accounts in search of any potential leads and evidence. Since people tend to use the same aliases for their usernames, sometimes the difficulty doesn’t lay in finding or verifying the accounts, but in finding them quickly. And if the target person isn’t using the same usernames? We must find other ways to identify which other platforms the person is also using.

We can easily conduct this type of investigation using the #Maltego Standard Transforms and the free #TinEye integration.
