World Day Against Trafficking in Persons: 2024

Human trafficking and modern-day slavery are global issues affecting countless lives, with very few countries remaining untouched. Every year on July 30th, the United Nations observes World Day Against Trafficking in Persons to raise awareness and strengthen efforts to prevent these heinous crimes.

The USAID Asia CTIP (Counter Trafficking in Persons), implemented by Winrock International, is a regional initiative dedicated to tackling transnational and regional challenges in the fight against human trafficking. This program strives to reduce human trafficking in Asia by fostering coordinated and consolidated actions among governments, civil society, and businesses.
