I don't think it'll ever come back. Weisman doesn't think so, either. As recently as 2020, he told a fan on Twitter that he "sadly" doesn't see it happening.

I wholeheartedly agree that is a superb show with excellent writing far beyond what one would expect in a franchise television series geared primarily towards a younger audience, but, so many years have passed since the show was discontinued, and other but I'm in television programs have come up subsequently, I wonder if it's even appropriate to investing completing the storyline.
