Just to let you know Ho'opili has the worst soil and you will have erosion problems which could lead to foundation problems.

Pretty sure you’ll be able to hear that freeway in your backyard 24/7

Mahi, you are awesome. Super video production, information, overhead drone shots and additional content for consideration. Like the comments below, traffic into town is key, and not ideal if you enjoy entertaining guests for a local party! Otherwise, right on video

Awesome video! Very informative. I love the maps...we need maps in every video to help those of us who aren't familiar with every part of the island. Also very good information about the parking.

A big issue that comes up, if you're having a birthday party or a gathering at your house there is no place for your guests to park. Ya, there is some guest parking but it's not guaranteed to be available. Good job, guys keep the videos coming!

I rented in Ewa Beach and don’t like to shared property lines with another house’s wall, the serious problem with fireworks, and the lack of physical property footprint. The lots are so small.

Ideal if you work west side or from home Otherwise..

Currently over an hour to travel 22 miles to town for work.

When these homes all complete…? An extra 30 min on top of that?

Don’t worry, train completes to China town in 2030?

Home cost? Look at HOA costs in the area and the % increase in recent years. Some up 70% in 1 year.

Great video production, content etc. ngl, the drone footage of the area looks like a deserted plantation with multimillion dollar cookie cutter concentration camp smart meter vinyl fence pens

I'm originally from Waimanalo but I didn't even know Ewa Beach existed until 2008, when we (husband and I along with our children) found a house to buy. Ewa Beach was up and coming, still. I liked how it was pretty untouched. Now in 2025, everywhere I look it's just growing. I don't like it because it's taking away from the island humble ways. Everyone is so bougie now. I know progress has to take place but yeah, I hope people care more about keeping things simple.

When buying think about the daaammmm traffic going into town if you work there. 🤔 Not worth it, I'm planning on moving...😂

Wife and I been watching those areas closely. Looks inviting but also looks like too much in such a small area. All the mid areas are still out of reach $$$. Not saying beach front for us that would be impossible. But watching to see for this areas. We currently live in Cali looking ..also expensive state....Hawaii for retirement living. We are still thinking. Also this area is less Hawaii....more commercialized like you said. I like to know where they are going to get the water and electricity to power these new developments. Probably raise taxes again.

One problem which you can see at 5:26. Near the highway. Thankfully electric vehicles are becoming more and more popular so that means increasingly less carbon monoxide and noise but currently that's a huge con for me.

What about Haseko homes you mentioned in previous videos?

West side has always been hot. Too hot. And, getting hotter. You absolutely need to A/C to live there.

Nope! Traffic keeps me from even thinking about it.

This is poor city planning. It's clearly about developers and Realtors trying to fatten their pockets so everybody else can suffer in traffic, I feel it should have been kept as farmland keep Hawaii sustained😔

Great video. 🤙 How much of a premium would you pay to live in Waikele vs this area. Detached

Kapolei starts at North South Road so Ka Makana Alii to me is Kapolei and Hoopili majority of the builds in my eyes in Kapolei. I also think the school district line is North South Road. I think Ewa Beach starts across from Queen's West and goes all the way down or at least that's how i look at it. Anything more forward than Queen's West going up i consider Waipahu/ Royal Kunia area.

@slkung1 Your point is well taken: Climate change is no longer hyperbole; it’s a real home-buying consideration.

So far from everywhere. Should make retirement homes or college/university and students dorms.
