Jimi Hendrix performs his last show at at the Open Air Love & Peace Festival in Fehmarn, West Germany on September 6, 1970. There were some technical difficulties which prevent the band from going on stage. In result the crowd started booing. That’s when Jimi Hendrix’s responds with the famous quote, “I don’t give a f#ck if you boo, as long as you boo in key.” Like the Legend he is, he then played the intro to Voodoo Child (Slight
Return)

Met him when I was a small child at a small cafe on Jackson Street.
My Mom reminded me of that day when on my 10th birthday she had presented me with the "Are You Experienced?" Vinyl lp when it had been released-still have it.

When the guitar started playing the boos stopped and the crowd fell silent, legendary.

The audience was fed up with conditions, bad weather and technical problems. Jimi brought them around.

Had the blessing of seeing him live a couple of times…unbelievable. The first rock & roller to basically weaponize the Stratocaster, whilst armed with a phalanx of Marshall amps. There will never be an equal….cept’ SRV!!!!

I thought i had seen every video of Jimi Hendrix live and then i stumbled upon this. Not going too lie i shed a tear. I was shown this by my brother's girlfriend when i was 12 years old. She was murdered a year later. Inspired me too practice guitar and keep playing, and now i teach guitar

He played pretty much better than he did at the Isle of wight, though that is amazing also. Too bad it wasn't recorded professionally. He was an experienced musician and was going to deliver the goods no matter at this point.
