I think in general conversation, guild names will be used more commonly because they're what's known.

I think if someone says any of the new names, I'm going to have to ask what it is or take some time to figure it out.

I don't think anyone is going to be upset if you use guild names, so I'll stick with that. Especially for non-eotating formats, it'll be more likely that decks will be named after guilds still

I think your list is good! I'm personally hyped for Beledros and am currently trying to build a golgari or sultai reanimator deck for standard.

I’m also curious about Blade Historian . I play a white weenie go wide deck (clarion spirit and glorious anthem), be pretty sweet to drop it turn four and hit for a bunch. Again not sure how competitive it will be but fun none the less .

Regarding the color names: imma try to use the new house names, even if it takes some effort, because the new color-pairs deviated far enough from the guilds' mechanics to warrant the new identity. Had Lorehold behaved just like Boros, then yeah, I'd be calling them Boros.

I’m convinced Baleful Mastery might have to warrant a ban at some point. Two mana? Exile creature OR planeswalker unconditionally? At the price of giving opp a single card? Idk this feels like a new staple.

Cool list I like the majority of it. I think Ravinica names will rein supreme for a while unless we get several more Strixhaven sets with more schools. Gotta get some representation before you work you way into the nomenclature.

I am old school too and will probably keep on using the Ravnica names unless they really push the college names as more sets drop.

Mono Red is going to be in a tight position this fall. I hope it'll be playable.

Warsinger is op...it needs to exile the creature card as a casting cost and exile the creature at combat end. Why wouldn't you just grab a sphinx and play mardu reanimator

Double Major in a tribal EDH deck seems pretty good. Especially something like Slivers where you’re in five colors already. I have noticed a lot of help for my +1/+1 Atraxa deck too. Now to decide what to take out. 😂

I'm going to refer to new Boros decks as Lorehold because I think Strixhaven brings an entirely new dimension to r/w

Revel in Silence will be a great thing to cast right before Ugin or any other planeswalker that would blow out a white or boros aggro deck!

I'm guessing we only use the school color combinations when referring to limited or draft, can't see it catching on for e.g. standard where there are other sets, think Boros, Golgari, Izzet will just stick over there...

Strixhaven stadium with a token deck would be awesome. Swarm the field with tokens and get as many as you can to do at least 1 dmg and add those counters for the win
