A great pair of jorts is the 'simple shorts' from Carhartt, i got them in black. Coming in at around £70 they have a nice fit! Recommend. Great vid!

Best pair of shorts i've ever owned are the Colorful Organic Standard Twill shorts that you recommended in a previous video, surprised you didn't mention them here. Amazing silhouette and they hit above the knee perfect and come in a variety of colors.

Interesting choices. In my opinion best proportion shorts are around 7 inches length (it may vary depending on person’s height) and despite of the current long shorts/jorts trend I’m always into that shorter length, so I really liked this video. I recommend you the Carhartt John Shorts, one of my fav pairs at the moment.

Agree with the essential branding, I was a little embarrassed to wear because of the big logo so I gave them to my wife lol, didn't realized the logo got smaller. Les Tien are my favorite shorts at the moment. Pricy but the material feels really nice and has that cut off sweat look with the long draw strings.

I went with a 100% virgin wool pleated relaxed leg basket woven shorts from Rohe in basket weave green color.

I fell in line last year with the Dieworkwear view that shorts shouldn’t just be trousers that only go down to around the knee, so moved away from the bog standard fitted chino short a bit and ended up getting a fair bit of stuff from Mr. Porter’s own line in their end of season sale and was really impressed with the fabrics and quality. Got a nice mix of cotton/linen blend stuff in seersucker, dobby, chambray etc that are airier and fit my build better given the waists are elasticated/drawstring yet can be dressed up still. IMO when it’s hot enough to wear shorts you want fabrics and fits that are airier… and of course show off your quad sweep.

I have the same abercombrie linen shorts. I also bought them in size M, and normally i wear the same sizes as harry. But somehow, the wound up being larger than i thought and I have to pull thr drawstrings very tight

Ok I love Uniqlo dry stretch easy shorts I have them in every color. They are a little more dressy but they can be easily worn down with a tee shirt. All the shorts you show look like gym shorts with the long draw strings. You like that but it’s not for me. Also I’m a little older than you (63) so I really can’t rock the gym shorts look. But you should really check out the Uniqlo shorts I mentioned they are light weight and super comfortable and if you’re going somewhere nice they’re a no brainer. Other then that I love what your doing and I really like you and your channel cheers
