@budsmoker4life420 its ported. The port runs all the way across the bottom of the box facing the tailgate. It is tuned at 37hz, but since the box is the width of the inside of the car, the port just uses the tailgate to extend it. Causing the the tuning to drop even lower. I would assume its in the low 30's for sure

Wow not bad @ 35 hrtz. I have 2 15s -crappy box/air leaks out the back hatch etc.- peaks @ 53 hrtz tuned around 40. Did a 139.5 @ 53 hrtz on 2k with 2 15 cvr's I hope after I seal the hatch and get 2 more in a -good- box and stop the air leaks I'll be doing a 49.9 bass race I seen someone with 4 15 cvr's DB Drag a 53.2 @ 51 hrtz so it's possible lol. This vid inspires me to get to work very nice flex man :) camera does it no justice keep up the bass!

@Bsktbll895 yup double baffled. the top plates sit in the top of the box. 4 2x2 braces goin front top plate connected to port, then 3 braces in the port...But the HDC3 will be sick....let me know how it plays tuned at only heard Hdc3's at 36hz and up. Very musical subs that can get low to. Can't wait to see the finished build.

@ddrking5555 yup 10 gauge is what they have....we bought cheap 8 gauge called "Surge" wire from a local car audio out our 10 gauge cutters strip it perfectly....so the 8 gauge we bought is really 10 gauge. Thats what im running in this build right now for my subs, and from the terminals posts to the amp. Got 30 ft og it for 20 bucks with 10, 8 gauge ring terminals lol

@ddrking5555 o i love it man...box is tuned a little higher than i like because we had to do some changes to the port width (never get your wood cut at lowes) so i ended having more port area than i would be fine if i had some subs with stiffer suspensions...some day i will lol. Also not as much flex since its tuned a little higher but it still gets it. I got a show comp this sunday. im hopin a 146db....but we'll see

Yeah, I already bought an amp. Got a Solid Audio F2500D uses american bass xd3000 board, still waiting for it to get here. They do well over 3K+ but you need real good electrical though much past 3K. Jacob fuller said it matched a memphis 4000 with head on head testing and the numbers were the same.
Anyway it might be awhile before I can get other stuff though lol.

Im hopin for a 146...that would be nice, but i dont know where ill even though i tuned at 37hz, thing still hits the low notes like no other. so ill prolly be peakin rather low....but we'll see this sunday. Got a show to go to

@FORDGTFANATIC yea it was a total, wasa great car, had no major problems besides my radiator fan goin out twice, and me goin thrugh 3 alternators, the alternator part was myfault though lol ;-)

nice....i just did a 144.2 on music and a 145 even on a 38hz type r 12's dual 2's bxi-2610d on low tuned tuned higher and i expect around 146 on music 147 149 on tones...but we will see i will be sure to get video of it on Term Lab for all the disbelievers....
