Cool truck Adam! And thankfully I escaped the 90's with no tribal tattoos either! Or the Asian symbol which were popular for a bit to. But a cool truck you don't see alot of!

They’re really good fun to drive, I converted my bf3 to 4wd and it’s much better like that imo, oil shocks does smooth it out but there is charm to the bouncy pogo shocks I think. There’s a Volkswagen Amarok on the chassis too, a wt01N that has the Blackfoot tyres and narrowed arms from the tl01/wr02 wheelie chassis, and there’s quite a few interchangeable parts from these collections of chassis.

Morning Addam, another great episode. Very interesting model. Wish Tamiya would give us a new monster model on a new chassis at some point. Thanks for sharing dude

Another great Tamiya truck share Addam! That mud blaster looks mint! I didnt know that the mud blaster 1 was released int the late 80s, wow that’s almost 40years ago. RCs have come a long way happy to still be in the game today with alll the great tech we enjoy today! Cheers to more! 🍺👊

My parents had a Brat with the seats in the back. The 80's were a crazy time.

another awesome episode of what's on the wall. My best friend actually has a brat just sitting in his yard rotting away that we've been talking about restoring. unfortunately, unlike the baja, it really doesn't have the engine bay space to do anything super fun to it without taking away the essence of what it is. Who knows, maybe we'll make a mini monster truck with it lol

Awesome car and very well explained Addam. I like how they designed the chassis, it gives you possibilities for customization other chassis don't have because front and rear are very similare.
I like the tribal flames. In blue they match very perfect wirh the car.
Thanks for showing and have a nice sunday

I’ve always liked the Subaru brat but I’ve also always liked the el Camino, ranchero and dodge rampage..
side note about the brat, they came from the factory with a pair of jump seats in the bed and seat belts connected to the roll bar. The only pickup in history to ever have that option

I have over 20 Tamiya RCs and the WT01 Blackfoot 3 is one of my fav runners with a mild Torque Tuned Motor.

THat is a very cool rig Addam. Always liked the Brat myself. I love the classic look but this looks very cool as well. Nice work man and another High 5 to the Rcelf. ;)

One other thing Addam, the top shock mounts on the gearbox tend to crack after some driving. I recommend those blue/black Yeah Racing WR02 suspension mounts if you do want to drive that thing. Another option is the GPM (i think) sells the longer alu susp mount so you can use 95-100mm long stroke dampers. Have fun

I don't remember that either man you come up with some awesome packages keen to see it get a run I know a lot of these were probably available in Australia but popularity was so different I saw a lot of your more common one's hornet's, hot shot, grasshopper but never saw trucks like these built and used it was all buggies and racing style rc's another great episode bro 👊

Very cool Addam. I’d forgotten about the Mud Blaster II. Don’t really know much about that chassis. Never ended up getting anything that used it. In hindsight I probably should have but…it is what it is.
