The cool thing about this theorem is that we can use the distributive property to find the moment at any point due to any number of forces at a point somewhere in space by either summing the forces together or distributing the position vector to each one of the forces.

The idea is that the moment at some point is the summation of all the moments that are induced by all the forces being applied at that point.
