Holy shit... Even as an atheist this put chills all over me. Damn, that was honestly one of the best spoken word poems I've ever heard.

At first I thought this was going to be some super liberal hate on christians, but what I saw was not the discrediting  of christianity, but the correct interpretation. I have been binging on poems all night, and this one will stick.

People are asking "why does he have to attack the entire religion?"
My question to them is this; how is he attacking the religion? He's just making a point. He's just stating facts in an amazing poem.

Obviously many people are having trouble realizing this so I'll try to clear this up: he is not actually claiming that God is gay. He is simply using this analogy to show people that it is wrong to hate against others when the Bible says to love others and judge not. This man is a Christian; he says so in the poem. Hes just trying to make a point.

The bible does say that a man shall not lay with another man, but why can't we ignore that like many other people ignore the other sins in the bible, like eating shrimp, cutting hair, and wearing two different materials in one clothing item. To those who say I'm getting off topic, I am not because those are all sins, but our ignorance chooses to see and understand what it wants. Why is it okay for for god to forgive you on everything else, but being gay? God doesn't hate anyone. That's his whole mojo. In the bible it even says how he loves everyone. Churches have signs that say he loves everyone. Why is it okay for people whom never had a discussion with God, to start saying how he feels, why is it okay for them to say "God loves everyone, except for you, you, and you." Times have changed since the bible has been made. Yes its okay to think its weird because yes, its something new and that's how our minds work. I can't believe that there is love that is illegal and hated
