What is this gift called the church and what does God hope to accomplish through it? We’ll consider the church universal and local, as well as how Scripture refers to the church as the Body of Christ, the Bride of Christ, and the family of God.

At 9:40 you explain that all those men are saints and include included in the one body of Christ. So if we pray and ask others to pray for us as Christians, then those whose bodies have passed always but are still alive eternally through Jesus Christ can also pray for us still, right? James 5:16

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

We are a Protestant church, so you shouldn't be surprised that we espouse Protestant eccesiology. I recognize that Jesus started the church on Pentecost and that the church would certainly include regenerate believers who were Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant. But I don't assume all who are part of the institutional church are equally members of the invisible church (hence the Vinn diagram). Nor do we take the Roman Catholic position that the church gave us the Bible. Scripture was recognized as the inspired Word of God by believers, but it was God's revelation whether we recognized it or not. I have to respectfully disagree with the Roman Catholic Church on these matter.

Jesus/God didn’t drop a bible from heaven. Jesus started a church and that church gave us the Bible.

If Jesus started His church in approximately 33 AD, what church did He create? Your church and all Protestant churches didn’t come until the 1, 500’s, so clearly Jesus didn’t start any Protestant churches. So what church has been around since the beginning? What church is responsible for the New Testament and the formation of the Holy Bible itself? Who create the Bible and when?
