Tbh 500 is a deal plumbers tried to charge me 1200 for a fucking cartridge who did it using YouTube videos for 38 dollars😁

As a professional plumbing contractor and business owner for 24 years You are still ripping off your customers if you charge $500. To change a cartridge out! How about $75 cartridge and a 1 hr service call charge (mine is $125.) that’s $200 service call that took 30 minutes and you have a customer for life that will call you back for all their plumbing needs !

Holy shit man been watching your vids to learn about plumbing (first time home owner). So far I have swapped out a shower valve completely, done the cartridge in the other shower, all the faucets, hose bibs, and a few angle stops. Never realized how much money I’m saving until now when I realize a cartridge change is over 500 🤯

I wish my cartridge came out that easily. I had to thread Tap the cartridge and use a bolt to finally get it to come out.

I work in Beverly Hills and Hollywood for 20 years $250 I would change the whole valve for $500 and I got customers calling me back every couple of years for new ones
