What an absolute bummer! Hopefully they choose the option where the track is in the area but not too close. Who knows, they might demolish some buildings elsewhere, like an old factory or something, and it could be a source of reclaimed timber for you. Good luck to you and your family.

Hi Tomasz, Sorry to hear about your stress. Nobody should be living a life concerned about the future of THEIR OWN property. Luckily, Poland is getting better and poor valuations are getting challenged in court. Time, patience, loud voice and persistence, usually helps a lot. And remember: "nie ma tego złego co by na dobre nie wyszło". I wish you all the best - good luck!
