1971 Opel Kadett Caravan resurrected. Prepping for 24 Hours of LeMons Rally Summer 2017

The ticking is just the label on the upper radiator hose being hit by the radiator fan. This is the first real start of this 1971 Opel Kadett Caravan in about three years. I had just fired it with a little fuel in the bowl moments prior to this, but I didn't have the fuel pump connected. I've had it in pieces since replacing the clutch. And I barely drove it since purchasing it, maybe 30 miles. I realized the clutch was toast on my way back from the DMV. Still not quite reassembled, but I hope to be driving this car next week. I have six months to prepare it for the 24 Hours of LeMons Rally up the West coast this summer.
