I started RMD last year. I can tell you it stings.
Plan ahead. My taxes tripled between the year before and the my RMD year. And my Medicare premiums also went up, too.

I don't stress about retirement much, but this is the one think I stress about and its more geared towards hoping I made the right decision. I guess we will find out when we're retired and withdrawing from our portfolio. :)

Agree with everything you said. Good job. I’ll be in higher in retirement. Along I’ve been told I’ll be lower. And put everything in pre tax. Now my 401k pre tax is 3.5 million. Going to do major Roth conversion next year when 59.5. Like 600 k for many years.
Also have a inherited Ira $600 k. Agree everything.
