India started counting votes for its 2024 general election on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his BJP alliance are on course for a third straight term - but not with the big majority he had hoped for.
The Opposition parties are faring better than the exit polls predicted.

Dear Hindu’s,

Hindus who fail to learn from the atrocities faced by their fellow Hindus in regions like Kashmir, Kerala, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Rajasthan are overlooking crucial lessons of history.

The failure to step outside and vote reflects a concerning apathy towards participating in the democratic process, hindering the progress of the nation.

Remaining divided along lines of caste and creed only weakens the collective strength of the Hindu community, making them vulnerable to external threats.

Despite the historic milestone of the Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya, the lack of significant voter turnout from the locals is disheartening, indicating a disconnect between aspiration and action.

The indifference towards civic responsibility in a place as significant as Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, is a disservice to the legacy and values upheld by Hinduism.

The decline of Hinduism can be attributed, in part, to the reluctance of individuals to stand up for their beliefs and rights, thereby allowing for the erosion of their own heritage and culture.

By failing to actively participate in the democratic process, individuals risk perpetuating conditions reminiscent of countries like Pakistan, where freedoms are limited, and rights are often disregarded.
