T20 World Cup 2024: PCB likely to announce squad 'soon'
LAHORE: As teams prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, sources say that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to announce the Green Shirt's squad for the mega-event "soon".

The board will also reveal the squad for the national side's tour to Ireland and the subsequent tour of England in May in a "day or two", the sources claimed adding that an 18-member team will be announced for the upcoming matches.

The development comes as earlier in the day New Zealand announced their 16-member squad for the T20 World Cup.

It is to be noted that the International Cricket Council (ICC) has set the May 1 deadline for the teams to submit their squad for the mega tournament which is set to commence in June.

However, changes can be made till May 25. Any change after that will require the approval of the ICC.
