THANK YOU for showing your palette with the colors/pigments overlay. It helps so much to see how you mix what colors with what water, and then see what happens/you do what you do. Many other watercolor folks on Youtube just show the brushwork, but the other important stuff (for beginners at least) is off-screen.

Just watching this video without words, just music, was like a meditation, watching the paint spread on the page and become trees, the figures walking, perhaps even a little dog, the shadows. It was all a beautiful drama of delight. Thanks so much.

I have only been painting with watercolor for 8 months. I use to paint landscapes in oil for about 13 years but have always wanted to learn watercolor. Plus it took so long to clean the brushes as well as dealing with the fumes. I have always read that watercolor was very difficult but you make it look at least approachable for a beginner. LoLs. Thank you so much for showing the paints that you use as well as using a shade of pencil in order for us to see how you draw things as well.
