I disagree about the inciting incident in The Matrix. It is definitely a major turning point, taking the red pill, more like a first plot point. But I would say that the inciting incident was Neo meeting Trinity. She tells him about The Matrix and that he is in danger.

never liked THE MATRIX ---- 0% chance of being real so disbelief is never suspended.... not sure why anyone would believe the great story & acting otherwise just dumb premise
