Credit to Atlanta for linking Lookman to us ..that would certainly catch the attention of most of the other EPL clubs...Chelsea could still try to sign him before the transfer windows is shut to replace Sterling.

Very strange how some of this fan base think. I'm absolutely loving being an Arsenal fan right now and have full faith in this project and thr people at the helm of it all

This is a comment! And Tom, like my mom used to say, "Some people are just happier being miserable and it's not going to make sense to you"

Lookman is a top player an old school winger direct attacks the full back. But what has impressed me most of all in the last two seasons is he has added end product to the point where when he gets near the box your suprised if he doesnt score. Also his link up play passing especially has improved dramatically. Gasparini has improved him so much. He would be a brilliant signing .inmo we would be getting a pedro neto without the injuries. But i doubt the links. But id love him at Arsenal .

Thank you for calling out the nonsense, Tom. Club is doing so many right things and they continue to operate with a lot of sense, in an industry that is otherwise completely insane. Some fans (I’m sure it’s a noisy minority) love to engage in recreational outrage and definitely need a reminder of where we were / had been for the last 10+ years. We were on the brink of slipping into total mediocrity. Our progression across all aspects of the Club has been nothing short of remarkable and should be studied.

Lookman seem like an older Xavi Simon. I hope he can deliver. I won't trade Kiwior However. Lookman seem like that Trossard or Jorginho or HAVERTZ signing, everyone will overlook but Arteta has seen the future and will bring the best out of him...

I like the Lookman transfer. Price including Kiwor seems a bit high to me seeing as Kiwor is a 25 million quid player.

I like Lookman a lot bring him in at Arsenal, Lookman makes things happen when he is on the field.

Bringing in Lookman would be interesting, in that case would totally be comfortable selling Nelson (sadly) in this case. Quality player, as you say Tom, raises the FLOOR!

I can bet you guys if Arsenal signs Lookman, that would be that for this transfer window.
I don't see Arsenal spending any huge amount on a striker after this deal.
With this deal, I think Arteta doesn't want his team to have a point man upfront for opposing defenders to feast on.

As Tom made the comparison to Lookman & Nelson @ 14:07 I was dead sure he was going to say "You need look no further than Nord VPN!"

Im sure we were linked with Lookman when he came through at Charlton

Tom, I believe that comment was making two separate points that the window may be a 6 because of the influence of not having won the league for 21 years and we not buying a striker this window (as many believe we need).

Pretty sure Lookman is signing for Chelsea since they need a 50th attacking player to join their team....I say "team" its more like a small town at this point. But tbf I've always liked Lookman and he would be a fantastic addition to the squad. He has only got better and better.

Tom, great content best episode this week. I’m currently listening to this poolside in Greece (Sifnos) …hard I know 😎

Sterling hahah! Ignore the haters, I don’t know much about Lookman’s performances but as you say he’s scored a hat trick against one of the best teams in the season last year in a final. He’s versatile which is what we need and I’m with you I don’t want to lose Kiwior but with.Califiori in I think the risk to get a lead scoring forward on part ex makes perfect business sense. Also, two things… seems robust and also although he’s not at right AFC profile at 27 I think that’s coz that is where he’s reaching his peak so makes sense to bring him in ready to go. Not used to pace of PL but will def be familiar with physicality. More positives than negatives imo on balance.

When Havertz is upfront in prem in last 16 games either starting or coming on as a sub up front, we've won 15 drew 1 (city away)
12 goals 7 assists
