Okay, things are getting VERY SCARY with Lamine Yamal…

Lamine Yamal isn’t even 18 yet. The 17 year old Barcelona attacker is not just the best young player in the world today, but one of the best players in the world full stop. Lamine Yamal even ranked in at #8 on the Ballon d’Or final rankings. He was integral to Spain winning Euro 2024, and he is getting better and better at Barcelona under Hansi Flick. Plus, the comparisons to Messi are crazy, when you look at their achievements by this age. So, will he continue?

People don’t talk about Pau Cubarsi too. He is just as scary and ridiculously talented.

As a Barcelona fan, I haven’t been this excited about the club in a long time. I’m just praying for good health and further development across the board. Visca el Barça ❤️💙

If I ever meet Messi, I'll make him give my kid a bath.

Longevity is what makes Messi the GOAT. We have been spoiled in the 2010 - 2020 era by the absolute dominance of Messi- Ronaldo. I don't see Haland-Mbappe filling that gap.

He was literally baptised by Messi... if injuries don't take him he will be the next

When did we last see a 17 years old to play centre back like Cubarsi? Hats off to him. La Masia is the best academy ever

The best part about it is the supportive atmosphere Yamal has around him right now, some experienced veterans with serious mentalities to guide him at Barca, and some of his lifelong friends playing alongside him with. Some very good results this season and a ucl and la liga would be huge

His progression in such a short amount of time is crazy.
I hope he continues growing and improving

If given longevity - i.e.; that he stays healthy - he just might end up in the GOAT conversation someday.

As a Barça fan I wish he would get less coverage and hype so he can just focus on his game but I guess that's how it is when you're a generational talent lol

You guys want to know the craziest part of Lamine's career until now?.His main position is not RW, Xavi put him there because his body was still devoleping and he didnt want to put lamine in the deep end in his debut..So get this he became one of the best RW in the world, while he had no experience playing there. In La Masia he was more of a central space player most notably False 9 was his role.he is a master of zone 14 of the pitch and i pray that he stays healthy, so that we can watch him fully unleash himself.

Yamal plays with the intelligence of someone twice his age and the exuberance of someone half his age. If he keeps this kind of spirit, he's got everything he needs to get into the shortlist of all-time greats. But it's a long path from here to there. Hopefully his body and his spirit don't wear out, because he's just too damn enjoyable to watch.

with all due respect, there isn’t a single winger in the world Yamal doesn’t bench, Right now he’s walks into any team as an undisputed starter

I remeber watching a highlight reel of Lamine when he was 11. Im a barça fan and followed the club socials closely and when he was selected for the first team at 15, it wasnt even surprising as the only surprising thing was the fact it was legal😂

He’s absolutely brilliant. It’s mind boggling how good he is. It’s bittersweet as a Madrid supporter. Barcelona really do have a gem of a player. He’s definitely going to be their star man for many years
