Показать описание
In a conversation for "The Ezra Klein Show," Vivek Ramaswamy shared his initial reaction to an exchange he had with Ann Coulter about what it means to be American.
All the racists in the comment section, she is factually wrong.HE IS AN AMERICAN BORN IN AMERICA PERIOD.

Cue the “I never thought the leopards would eat my face” song

She straight up said "american black" and "indian" being the two "qualifications" that invalidates your candidacy in her opinion. And my man vivek here is doing some next level mental gymnastics here to avoid speaking that. TOP KEK.

Oh how Vivek tries to spin Ann Coulter's comment
georgecintron
As an Indian, i am disappointed. Vivek has no self respect.😤😡

Good lord - that's not what she said at all. He's ability to rationalize what she said is astounding

The copium this guy is smoking is beyond pathetic. She told
You her truth Vivek. You should listen to her. She means it.

Because he's not an American black tells you how a lot of white Americans feel like this sub human being woman

So sad to see how he can’t and never will be able to even address blatant racism towards himself because it would certainly disqualify him from being a member of the Republican Party! True uncle T!
stblack
Vivek gets insulted and degraded by his own party and then makes excuses on their behalf because he has no respect for himself. Sad really
coreyjpieper
Seriously
They're doing racisms against him and Indian in such a way
How much tolerant he is

The funny thing is that Vivek if he wanted to could be a serious nominee for the Democratic party but instead he tied his wagon to a party that has many influencers and voters like Ann Coulter.

The interviewer must have pushed him here a bit n asked she literally she said if u ain't Wasp u can't be the president

His parents come from a country where Hindus are constitutionally not allowed to run state-approved educational institutions while minorities are free to do so. Even after 7 decades, the system categorically discriminates against upper castes like him from acquiring scholarships, seats in educational institutions, and jobs. Hindus in India should be the last ones to be offended by his comment. We even gave away half our motherland to the invaders. This guy is steadily earning respect for Indians and Hindus, thus helping future Hindu generations to settle in America easily. At least, he's proud to call himself a Hindu, unlike the ones in JNU whose education we fund.
saranprabi
She went full racist on you and you tried to incorrectly rationalize it. Sad.
hisgoodteenr
She was being absolute racist. Grow a spine vivek.
Ati-Maharathi
This guy went to Ivy League schools and then went to work in the fintech sector. He's lived a completely sheltered life and then Ann Coulter just demolished him, he's still trying to rationalize it.
Right now he's probably clamoring for a cabinet position in Trump's next administration, but hasn't realized he's been sidelined.
PURENT
And people lie to themselves and say republicans dont have factions that revel in identity politics. Coulter's views are racist but not in the lynching sense. It is important to realize the nuance in her statement that despite Vivek being born in middle America he is not yet "American" enough for her vote.
EyeWatchUB
That's what his party says of KH too. That they wouldn't pick her cos of her race.
How's that feel?
