Ep. 272: Dongfeng Nammi Box, the happy small Chinese car
Показать описание
This is the first of a whole lot of cheap electric cars from various manufacturers.
Dongfeng is a old Chinese manufacturer, it comes with two batteries, has all the modern safety systems and costs around 20.000€
Thanks for the review. I think it is mostly spot on.
The 42kWh nammi Box is sold in several countries in the EU already.
We bought ours in first week November for €23.400, and we have been driving it for over 3000km.
First impression, it is very efficient. At the moment it is 2 degrees in Netherlands and on average we do 12kWh per 100km, mostly on 60kmh and 80kmh roads.
Everything feels solid and good quality, for an EV below €30.000.
Feels better quality than the Citroën ë-C3 MAx that we tested befor, but had to cancel due to the lack of features and much to high price of €29.800.
1question about your review . . . . What is a city car?
That word is mostly used be people with little knowledge about how and where to use cars.
We took cars like the Smart Cabrio for trips to Austria or Italy, but from our house to Amsterdam is 25km, we take the bus.
Never ever, in 50 years driving, have we used a car just for driving in a ciity. Every car that can do highway speeds is a . . . . car.
We did live in big cities like Amsterdam, but used the cars we owned for everything . . . .except for IN the city.
So, i wonder what your defenition is of a "city car"
Grizzold-HP
