In the late 80’s, early 90’s, we used to take our sons there to cut down the perfect Christmas tree. It was a tradition and fun to find the perfect tree.

With enough drugs, I'm sure that turns into the most magical place on earth after dark.

Also wear some nail protection boots! I know they might be uncomfortable but with some talcum powder and thick socks to break them in youll be good. Its better to have blisters than a used needle in your foot!

I believe it used to be a pumpkin patch and holiday tree place. One of those deals. It’s been empty for a long time.

Breckenridge & Commanche.
Was an Old Christmas Tree Lot.
They use to have standing dead trees back in 2010

It's a farming community. I swear every time I drive by it rains too. Kind of creepy! Also when you enter Lancaster, it does the same thing

I thought one of the Golf Courses/Country Clubs does a fundraiser called the Enchanted Forest. Frazier Park and Tehachapi have Forests. Part of Wind Wolves sort of looks like a forest. I think Kernville has forests, just not in Bakersfield itself.

Find The Creamery on F Street, downtown. Have a nice lunch with a bud. They make their own caramel sauce and such. GREAT desserts.

I am born and raised in Bakersfield....You can hold the believe the " Enchanted Forrest" was, at one time, a Christmas tree lot where you picked out, and harvested your tree....it was literally covered with varioys tyoes of conifers for your holiday decoration. It is located in East Bakersfield, on, I think, Breckenridge Rd...
NOW....The WORST part of living in Bakersfield....is it is located in California....a state run by lunatics...
